The Queensland Defence Summit will bring together government, industry, academics and policy experts to examine Australia’s defence capabilities and strategic requirements spanning Far North Queensland and the broader Pacific. The summit will address naval power projection from northern ports while developing robust sustainment and logistics networks for extended Pacific operations. Alongside, addressing critical infrastructure requirements workforce development challenges, the unique operational complexities of the FNQ environment, investment priorities, supply chain resilience and opportunities for local SMEs to access the defence pipeline.
